ATTORNEY GENERAL BLUMENTHAL TO VISIT RIVERFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN FAIRFIELD FOR CABLEVISION POWER TO LEARN INTERNET SMARTS EVENT
Fairfield, CT January 7, 2005 - On Monday, January 10, 2005, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal will welcome the Riverfield Elementary School PTA to a Cablevision Power to Learn "Internet Smarts" event. The interactive workshop takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Attorney General will introduce an Internet Safety presentation from the Power to Learn staff to educate parents about safe ways for families to approach this powerful communications tool. Topics range from the dangers of sharing personal information with strangers to website authenticity and copyright/downloading laws.
