Playing Passwords Plus

Keeping track of all your PINs, passwords, credit card numbers, bank accounts, frequent flyer info, and more is just one of those problems of modern life. And it ain't easy! It seems like these days everything has a double secret password, access code or registration number that you have to have in order to get at your information, account or even troubleshooting advice.
There is, of course, a good reason for all the cloak and dagger intrigue. With identity theft on the rise, it's imperative to protect your personal info from unauthorized access. But I think we all yearn a bit for the days, when we could walk into the same bank every week, at the same time, and the teller would know us well enough to deposit a check in our account without asking for our driver's license. (My personal beef at the moment.)
So is there a gadget that can help with keeping track of all your important numbers?

It lets you store and back-up password information on your computer and then download it to your laptop, handheld or smartphone so you can take it wherever you go - all password protected, of course. It uses industry-standard 128-bit Blowfish encryption, so your info is secure and kept private no matter on what device it is stored.
Of course, this all takes a little time to organize, but once you add the pertinent information to one of the 27 included templates, for different kinds of accounts and pass numbers, you'll have all your personal info in one place, organized and easy to get to within a matter of minutes. You can even synchronize your handheld with both your work and home computer - and again, it is all one-password-fits-all protected.
As I got myself organized with this package, I also came to appreciate some of its other features. I have always said I would like to be able to print out a list of credit card numbers and other valuable numbers that I carry around in my wallet, in case of theft, so I would know what calls I would have to make to cancel them. This software has that ability and I could even add in, because the templates are editable, the number I need to call if one of my credit cards, for example, got lost or stolen. It also has an Auto-lock feature that automatically shuts off the Passwords Plus application to protect your data from prying eyes! –A real plus at my house as I am called away to help with homework and other family "disasters" on a regular basis.
Not to be forgotten, there is the matter of your master password. It's always perplexing to come up with one that you can remember and that follows the golden rule of combining at least 7 characters with a combination of letters, numbers and symbols. Once you come up with one, you also have to remember it or remember where you wrote it down. But thanks to Passwords Plus , there will only be one secret code to remember!
