Long Island - Long Island Teachers Are Recognized at Center Court

On Sunday, July 8th, teachers Mary Jane Rochford, Karen Kleigman and Christine Southard were honored on Center Court during halftime of the New York Liberty v. Sacramento Monarchs game at Madison Square Garden. The three teachers, all recipients of $500 Teachnet Power to Learn grants, were recognized, along with 2 New Jeresy teachers, for their innovative lesson plans, which integrate technology into classroom projects.
