Following a brief speech by the Mayor, three third grade classes enjoyed a 90 minute visit with the Groove Truck.  Students played basketball, competed in shooting contests against classmates and against their teachers (the kids won)!

Ms. Ramos' class also received tickets to an upcoming NY Knicks game for winning the Read to Achieve "most-spirited" contest.  The students won by demonstrating their creativity and enthusiasm while participating in Knicks Read to Achieve @powertolearn.com
