New Jersey - 3rd Graders at Theunis Dey Elementary School Are Awarded Most Spirited in the Knicks Read to Achieve Program and Earn a Visit by the Knicks Groove Truck
June 3, 2011


Wayne, NJ, June 3, 2011 -   After completing the Knicks Read to Achieve Program with Power to Learn, 3rd Graders at Theunis Dey Elementary School were awarded with a visit from the Knicks Groove Truck. Ms. Stein's class was named most spirited for the program's third progress reporting period which earned the Groove Truck visit for her class as well as the other classes that participated. Representatives from Power to Learn were on hand to award the students on their job well done with certificates and a visit by Wayne Mayor Chris Vergano. The Knicks Groove Truck Street Team were also present to help engage the kids in some fun basketball themed games following group photos.
