Councilman Fidler commended Cablevision's Power to Learn for its Internet Smarts program, adding, "Each of the students did a great job today.  They tacked a tough subject and made it informative and entertaining.  As we all know, the Internet has opened up a host of opportunities for students today.  When used responsibly, it is a wonderful resource.  Programs such as this help equip students with the knowledge necessary to ensure a safe online experience."

"As educators we have a shared responsibility to help students understand the importance of treating one another with respect and the repercussions of online bullying," said Principal Polubiec.  "Thanks to Cablevision's Power to Learn, our students are now more confident when navigating the Web and more aware of potential dangers."
