This project began as a cooperative research project in the Advanced Placement American History class at Bethpage High School. The students were juniors at the time. Six of them planned to finish the project the following year in their Advanced Computer Applications class. It was actually finished about a year and a half after it was started.
The six who put in the most time and effort deserve special recognition. They are Troy Gorman, Vincent Imbesi, Jonathan Kim, Keith Menig, Charlie Omage and David Rewkowski. They worked many nights and vacations to finish the project. They represent the best that Bethpage has to offer.
The other authors are the researchers, without whom the project never would have been started. They are: Keith Abboud, Anthony Altieri, Glen Beck, Dan Berlin, Michele Bos, Deirdre Brace, Kelly Brennan, Gregory Carbo, Susan Choi, Stacey Cintado, James Cordiner, James Cudney, Chris DiBella, Allyson Franco, Stephanie Heimbauer, Michelle Jerson, Herman Karakaya, Michael LoGerfo, Andrea Luccioni, Peter Marketos, Tom Meyer, Mike Miale, Mike Morea, Marie Palazzo, Eric Pechenko, Jessica Poli, Kevin Robarge, Fern Salz, Sean Severin, Suraj Sharma, Mike Sonntag, Matt Steele, Julie Tang, Prem Vasudev, Mindy Weinstein, Lisa Witzer and David Wright.
Terry Clark is the Supervisor of Social Studies and Computers for the Bethpage School District and was the teacher of these gifted students in both the social studies and computer classes. He misses them all!!
