GLOBAL HISTORY III & IV: NEW YORK STATE REGENTS REVIEW GUIDES
Created by Mr. Matthews "Talented Tenth" students at Samuel Gompers Vocational & Technical High School in the Bronx, these Global History III and Global History IV Regents Study Guides provide New York state students with the ability to outline thematic essays, understand document-based essays and visually connect the outline format with needed Global History Regents information.
These student-created presentations/study guides provide visual and text information that will help high school students prepare for the New York State Global History, United States History & Geography Regents exam. Students may also use these study guides to ensure that they are on track with the topics they must master to pass the Regents.
Samuel Gompers High School's "Talented Tenth" now has a history of passing the New York State Global History Regents at a 100% passage rate in the last five years. In addition, the "Talented Tenth" has won the 2005 Mind Athletes Award and the W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington debate for 2005. The W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington debate is an annual debate that is held at Samuel Gompers High School, where major politicians attend to honor African American History Month.
