Power to Learn participates in the Universal Service Fund Education-Rate (E-rate) program. We have put together some links that will assist you in quickly finding forms and information on the erate process. Throughout the school year visit www.powertolearn.com for updated information on the E-rate program.
October 29, 2007 is a key erate date. It is the deadline to file Form 472 for FY 2006 and the deadline to file Form 486 for FY 2007. File your forms by October 29 to ensure you do not miss out on funding dollars.

Erate Time Table
Erate funding years run from July 1 through June 30. USAC has provided a timetable for the paperwork required during the application process.

Appeals
You may receive a decision regarding billing, collection or disbursement matters that you do not agree with. You can file and appeal with USAC within 60 days of issuance of the decision. Click here to lean more about the appeals process.

IMPORTANT DATES:
November 7, 2008 – FY 2008 form 471 Application Process opens.
January 10, 2008 - Last possible day for a 470 paper application to be received by USAC to meet the 28 day posting requirement and fill out the 471 before the close of the 471 filing window on February 7, 2008.
February 7, 2008 – The close of the 471-filing window at 11:59 PM EST.
