Styles of Dance: Ballet
Ballet uses classical music and has broad and smooth movements. Ballets usually tell a story in several acts and often involve a pas de deux and a corps de ballet, a group of dancers who usually dance in unison. Costumes usually involve tights, tutus for women, and toe shoes, special shoes with support at the toes to help dancers balance and move on the tips of their toes.
