Included is an introduction for young listeners to the life and work of one of the 20th century's greatest musical figures, this program will feature a sampling of Copland's most popular works including Rodeo, Fanfare for the Common Man, and Appalachian Spring. Excerpts from the original Agnes de Mille choreography will be danced by members of the American Ballet Theater Studio Company, and narration will provide a guide to understanding Copland's unique contribution to music.
