Classical | Jazz | Blues | Rock
Webster's Dictionary defines music as the
science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal
relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity.
When creating music we have the ability to
convey a feeling, mood or emotion. As a result, music can have many different effects on
individuals, groups and society as a whole. Some believe that listening to music can
reduce stress, help increase your recovery time when having an operation and even raise
test scores!
The importance of music as an art,
relaxation tool and vehicle to express ones innermost emotions is undeniable. As a result,
there are many different genres of music: classical, jazz, rock etc.
