Webster's Dictionary defines music as the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity.

When creating music we have the ability to convey a feeling, mood or emotion. As a result, music can have many different effects on individuals, groups and society as a whole. Some believe that listening to music can reduce stress, help increase your recovery time when having an operation and even raise test scores!
