Is it Winter around the world at the same time?
Answer: Winter is at a different time depending on where you live. When the Northern half is tilted toward the sun, the Southern half is tilted away from the sun. If you lived in the Southern hemisphere, where Australia is located, your seasons would be reversed. When it is Summer in the U.S., it is Winter in Australia. And when it is Winter in the U.S., it is Summer in Australia. And there are places near the middle of the earth where there are not distinct Summer and Winter seasons.
